To maximize the inner volume of SUBSON, we profited from the stiffness of aluminum to realize a slim-walled cabinet lacking in parallel walls, thereby avoiding deleterious internal standing waves. With a depth of only eight inches it is easy to understand why SUBSON is called the first “Flatwoofer,” optimized for near-wall placement.
